UK Longevity & Mortality Updates

Many different actuarial groups around the world are engaged in mortality research - collecting, curating and analysing data to provide clearer insights on past, current and future mortality.  Here we highlight and link to two particular domains of activity - the International Actuarial Association (IAA) Mortality Working Group and the UK Mortality and Longevity Updates.

The UK Mortality and Longevity Updates from the Mortality Research Steering Committee (MRSC) of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) aim to highlight recent developments in mortality and longevity in an accessible form by providing hyperlinks through to the original webpages.  The Updates cover websites, papers, presentations and articles, as well as upcoming conferences.  We are immensely grateful to Brian Ridsdale for his vision and determination in creating the Update series and for his continued support in ensuring the widest possible dissemination of information on all aspects of mortality and longevity.
